This Privacy Policy explains how Trading Spaces collects, uses, and shares information when you use our Platform. By using the Platform you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information you provide: name, email, phone, profile photo, and authentication identifiers (via our authentication provider).
- Listing & booking information: Space details, photos, pricing, availability, messages, and booking history.
- Payment information: handled by our payment processors; we receive transaction metadata, not full card numbers.
- Usage information: device, browser, IP address, pages viewed, and interactions with the Platform.
- Cookies & similar technologies for authentication, security, analytics, and preferences.
2. How we use information
To operate the Platform, process bookings, communicate with you, prevent fraud, comply with law, improve the Platform, and (with your consent where required) send marketing.
3. How we share information
- With other Users to facilitate bookings (e.g. a Host sees the Guest’s name and contact for a confirmed booking).
- With service providers (hosting, authentication, payments, email, analytics, customer support) under confidentiality obligations.
- When required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Your choices
You can update your account information from your dashboard, unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message, and request deletion of your account by emailing privacy@trading-spaces.com.
5. Data retention & security
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no system is 100% secure.
6. Children
The Platform is not directed to anyone under 18.
7. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent changes.
